Brian Love would come home with his fourth top 10 in four feature races this year as he would finish eighth in the feature.
He would finish third in the first heat after starting second. He would then finish third in the second heat after starting fifth.
He would start mid-pack in the feature, running eighth by the end of lap one. He would drop back to ninth on lap three after being passed by Brandon McFerran.
On lap six, Dan Archibald would spin while racing side-by-side with Ben Melenhoust, Love would be behind them, barely squeaking by without damage. He would restart the race in the ninth position.
He would pass Terry Woodley for eighth on lap 11.
On lap 14, the caution would come out for both Archibald and Peter Inglis stalling on track. Then under that caution, fourth place driver Ken Townsend would stall. He would be pushed off the track, bumping Love up to the seventh position.
In the final half of the race, Love would be passed by Melenhoust, handing Love an eighth place feature finish.
He currently sits sixth in points, two points out of fifth, 50 points behind points leader Warren Paxton.
