At the end of racing on May 26th, Brian Love finished ninth in the Mini Stock for his fourth straight top-10 finish.

In the first heat, Love started third and came home in sixth.

In the second heat, the Barrie, Ontario native started eighth and came home sixth.

In the feature, the driver of the No. 04 Fox's Bakery and Deli, Tire Depot Barrie, Hans-on Lawncare and Simcoe Auto Recyclers Civic started ninth. By lap five, he had gained five spots and was up to fourth.

However on lap six, Tyler Dickson passed him for fourth while Eric Yorke passed him for fifth on lap seven.

The first caution would come on lap eight for Harold Noseworthy going for a spin, moving Love back up to fifth.

When the third caution came out on lap 16 for Dave Henderson Jr. spinning Wendy Adams, Love would be back to eighth. He would be passed by Tyler Johnston before the end of the feature, finishing ninth. 

He now sits fifth in points, only five points out of fourth and 82 out of the lead.

This weekend before heading to the track, Brian Love will be one of the drivers that take part in the Fox’s Bakery and Deli Fundraiser for Autism on Saturday from 10am till 3pm. Love will have his car on display, while taking pictures with it and signing autographs. There will also be face painting and a clown. Fox’s Bakery and Deli is located at 96 Victoria Street in Barrie, Ontario.
