After running 41 Camping World Truck Series races during the span of 10 years for owners like Bobby Hamilton, Billy Ballew and Rick Ware, Brian Rose is set for a new beginning in the ARCA Series.

The new beginning for his team started during the ARCA test at Daytona earlier this month.

The team showed up on Wednesday, a day late due to the winter storm, but they didn't miss a beat. In the morning single-car sesson, Rose had the 17th fastest lap on the speed chart with a lap of 48.965 seconds (183.805 mph).

“We’re pretty happy,” Rose said on Wednesday afternoon. “We’re not finished yet though. We were just shaking our No. 4 Harris Trucking / Team ASE Toyota Camry down, making sure we didn’t have any major issues. Danny (Rollins) and I will talk and I think we can deliver bigger and better things on Thursday.”

The Louisville, Kentucky native did deliver big on Thursday as he posted the fifth quickest lap in the morning single-run sesson and the second-fastest lap of the afternoon draft sesson.

“I don’t think we could of asked for anything more during the test,” sounded Rose. “I was hoping that missing a day would not hurt our Brian Rose Motorsports team. We knew that we had to bust our tails to make sure we accomplished what we wanted to do and I believe we did that and more.”

“I cannot thank Danny (Rollins) and the entire team for their efforts this week. It’s without a doubt had it’s trying moments with the weather and whatnot but we stuck it out and we’re happy with what we produced.”

Rose and Danny Rollins last worked together during Rose's rookie year at Bobby Hamilton Racing, in which their time there together included a third-place finish at Daytona in the truck series.

“Man, I can’t say enough about Danny,” Rose admitted. “It’s like our chemistry never disappeared. He taught me a few things about these ARCA cars and once I was able to find our comfort zone, our speed increased and the rest was literally history. Hopefully we can come back here in a couple weeks and pick up right where we left off from here.”

Rose has already announced sponsorship deals with both Harris Trucking and Team ASE, but plans on announcing more sponsorships as the days count down till the first race of the season.
