Ashley McCubbin/Wilson Motorsports - Last week, Brian Wilson Jr. made his first start at Barrie Speedway, running the Garry Reynolds Memorial. It’d be successful as he would come home 11th on the night.

In the first heat, the Brampton, Ontario native would be involved in a wreck after making contact with Luke Gignac on lap six. He would finish eighth.

In the second heat, he would finish eighth once again.

In the feature, Wilson would start the No. 00 Assured Car and Truck Rental, Smurf's Towing, Canadian Home Renovations, Tufff Transportation, Gunk, Pete's Automotive, Stag Automotive, Terrier Excavating and Landscaping, and Scrap Car Towing Cutlas in the 14th position.

Wilson Jr. would race the tough little track hard, making his way up to the 11th position by the halfway mark at lap 25. He’d run in that position the rest of the event, finishing it off 11th.
