This past weekend at Sunset Speedway, Brian Wilson Jr. competed in both regular Saturday night action, as well as round one of the McColl Racing Enterprises (M.R.E) Pro Series on Sunday.


On Saturday, Wilson would finish ninth in the first heat after starting at the back.

In the second heat, the Brampton, Ontario driver finished eighth after starting third.

In the feature, Wilson would line the No. 00 Assured Car and Truck Rental, Smurf's Towing, Canadian Home Renovations, Tufff Transportation, Gunk, Pete's Automotive, Stag Automotive, Terrier Excavating and Landscaping, and Scrap Car Towing Cutlas up 18th due to his qualifying effort. He would gain three spots throughout the course of the feature to finish 15th.

He currently sits 14th in points, one point out of 13th and 48 points out of the top 10.

On Sunday, Wilson would start sixth, though find trouble early as he was spun by Kent Constable. He would come home with a seventh place finish. In the second heat, Wilson would finish 10th.

Due to his qualifying effort, Wilson would start the feature in 18th. Wilson would run a hard racing, making it up to 15th by the caution on lap 43. However, he would be passed for position in the final seven laps and finish 16th.

Wilson will be back at Sunset Speedway this weekend with hopes that his luck will turn the corner. Make sure to come out to Sunset Speedway next weekend to support Brian Wilson Jr. and Wilson Motorsports.
