When it came to feature time on Wednesday night at Sunset International Speedway, Brian Wilson Jr. made sure to race hard and did so on his way to finishing 16th in a very talented field of the best super stock/thunder car drivers in the province.
The Brampton, Ontario native would finish 10th in both his heats.
In the feature, Wilson would start the No. 00 Assured Car and Truck Rental, Smurf's Towing, Canadian Home Renovations, Tufff Transportation, Gunk, Pete's Automotive, Stag Automotive, Terrier Excavating and Landscaping, and Scrap Car Towing Cutlas near the back. He’d race hard through the whole 50 laps, falling a lap down on lap 35 to leader Nick Roth, before coming home with a 16th place feature finish.
He currently sits 17th in the M.R.E Pro Series point standings, five points out of the top 15 going into the final round on August 27th.
Thanks to the fans for their support. Make sure to come out on August 18th for Fan Appreciation Ceremonies. Come out and say hi to Brian while getting his autograph.
