On Sunday July 29th, Cronan Motorsports will be hosting the 3rd Annual Cronan Motorsports Golf Tournament at Horseshoe Resort. The event is meant to raise money for the Seasons Centre for Grieving Children.
“Season’s Centre is an excellent charity that we’re very proud to support,” Sean Cronan said back in February at the Canadian Motorsports Expo.
With the golf tournament, their official night at the track and other events, Cronan Motorsports is hoping to raise over $5,000.
Tickets for the golf tournament are $100, but that includes 18 holes of golf in a best ball shotgun start format, valet cart, a sit down dinner and a chance to win prizes. The event will include competitions, raffles and much more. People are welcome to come alone and come with three of their friends as it promises to be a fun event for everybody.
Also, to help raise more money, they have brought back to the opportunity for a company, a family or an individual to sponsor a hole. There are 24 spaces available, including closest to the pin and longest drive. For $300, you will receive a free ticket, as well as exposure at the event and on the Cronan Motorsports website.
Last year’s event was a success as it raised over $1000. Though with your help and attendance, you can help Cronan Motorsports go way over that number.
The Season’s Centre for Grieving Children is about giving every child the opportunity to grieve in a supportive environment. They provide peer-to-peer support for children, teens and their families when grieving a loved one.
So far this year on track, Sean Cronan has had a consistant season, finishing in the top 10 each week, sitting fourth in points.
