Gehrig Finishes 4th In Mini Stock Standings
Awesome Year For Sophormore
Gehrig closed off the 2013 season with an aggressive run in both his heats and the feature. He clinched 4th in the points, an outstanding achievement in his 2nd season racing in the Quaker State Honda.
Awesome Year For Our Team In Promoting Our Sport & Our Precious Sponsors
The Quaker State Late Model team fell short of what we wanted in 2013 in terms of on track performance. We made 57 of 58 races so far this season running hard every night. We admit we learned a lot and know what we need to do to put us in the winner’s circle more times in 2014.
Our crew was awesome. David Elliott, Bob Pereira, Matt Smith, Ryan Elliott and Jim Hulzinga contributed where they could to make this a very memorable and successful season in spite of our on track struggles.
The racing was the most competitive by far, in all of Ontario for short track Late Model racing. Fans were thrilled hard fought tight racing, and we were always in the thick of it doing our best every race.
Perhaps our biggest achievement was the relationship we developped with all the fans big and small, we were a fan favourite and will do our best to have our fans cheer when we hold the checker flag more times in 2014.
Come and see our Quaker State team this Saturday morning at MacMaster Buick GMC in Orangeville. We will be there from 10am until 2PM. We will give away our Quaker State 40th Anniversary souvenir programs to customers and staff.
Our next race is this Saturday September 21st at Barrie Speedway for the Garry Reynolds Memorial. Races start at 4 PM
