After being sent to the back of the field on lap 10 of 25, Yorke would battle his way back up through the field to finish in the ninth spot.
Yorke started the night off by finishing third in his first heat after starting sixth. He would then win the second heat after starting on pole.
Come feature time, Yorke started in the 10th position and began his climb to the front immediately, moving into third on lap three. Yorke would then pass Gehrig Halliday on lap five to move into second.
Throughout the next five laps, Yorke would chase down leader Steve Belanger and begin to look for a way by, whether high or low. However, with each move, Belanger continued to block. Finally down the backstretch on lap 10, Yorke would get a nose under Belanger, when Belanger would cut down across Yorke and cause himself to spin. Track officials deemed Yorke an involved car and with the rule stating “all involved cars to the back”, Yorke was put to the back of the field for the restart.
Yorke once again began to claw his way to the front, moving into the 16th position by the time the second caution flew at lap 13 for Chris Free spinning. In the next two cautions that ensued in the span of two laps, Yorke managed to move up to 13th.
Once the restart came, Yorke began to battle hard, including a three-wide battle with Clarke and Love at lap 16 for 10th. Yorke would clear them both and managed to pass two more cars before the last caution of the night waved at lap 24 of 25 when Hemingway spun, with Kendra Adams then making significant contact with Hemingway after. As a result, the feature was declared over and Yorke would get credited with an eighth place feature finish.
As a result, Yorke sits third in points, two points out of second.
