Eric Yorke battled hard in a tough Mini Stock field on Saturday night to finish seventh in the feature.

Yorke started off the night finishing fifth and third in his heats.

Come feature time, Yorke started his No. 51 Nissan 240SX in the 11th spot, though ran into trouble early when he was spun by Lance Foster on the first lap.  As a result, Yorke would have to go to the back of the field.

Yorke began to work his way through the traffic, moving into 12th on lap 11. Yorke escaped an incident on lap 14 involving Steve Belanger and Foster to move into the top 10.

On the restart, Yorke continued his climb to the front, battling for eighth on lap 17 with Gehrig Halliday. Yorke got by Halliday to take the spot on lap 18. Yorke held down eighth till the next caution at lap 21 for an incident involving Morgan Robson and Kevin Pickford.

On the restart, Yorke went three-wide with Brandon McFerran and Samantha Shaw for sixth, that turning into a side-by-side with just McFerran on lap 21. McFerran would get by Yorke on lap 22.

Yorke held down the seventh spot the final three laps to score his 14th top 10 this season in 14 features.

As a result of a successful season that included eight heat wins, Yorke finishes third in points.
