Sunset Speedway

July 16th to July 19th

Scripture Union held the first ever Motor Racing Camp at Sunset Speedway this past week.  Lead by Sarah, the very caring and devoted SU counselors made every day a blessing for the kids, playing games, learning techniques of different sports and lessons on playing and working together…especially when it came to the race car and the seminar’s we had each day.

Sunset Speedway Tech Building Was A Great Place To Host The Seminars

The tech garage allowed me to set up our display with prizes for the kids that included our Quaker State 40th Anniversary book and footballs from Permatex.

Go Cart Time

They were pumped all week, but getting into the Go-Carts was the high light for them.

The success of this camp was written on the face of each child.  They enjoyed every minute.  I must say I felt the same, and left on Friday truly blessed with the time I had with the kids.

Just before closing every camper autographed the hood of our Quaker State 40th Anniversary Impala.  They loved signing the hood; a fitting end to an awesome week…..can’t wait for 2014
