Lisa DeLeeuw would battle hard throughout the entire 25 lap feature at Sunset Speedway to finish 23rd in the feature.
DeLeeuw started off the night finishing eighth in the first heat after starting third. She would then finish eighth also in the second heat after starting in sixth.
Come feature time, DeLeeuw started 22nd in the feature, and would fall back to 24th by the second caution for Peter Inglis going around. DeLeeuw avoided the spinning car of Chris Free on lap 13 to move herself up to the 23rd position. She then moved up to 22nd after Mike Robinson Jr. spun around in turn two at lap 15.
In the next eight laps that followed, DeLeeuw would fall back to 23rd and ran there till the last caution of the night waved at lap 24 of 25 when Hemingway spun, with Kendra Adams then making significant contact with Hemingway after. As a result, the feature was declared over and DeLeeuw would get credited with a 23rd place feature finish.
