Ashley McCubbin for Cronan Motorsports --- Following a spin just before halfway, Sean Cronan would work his way through the field to finish in the 11th position. The finish marks his first finish outside of the top 10 this season.
Cronan would start the night by finishing eighth in his first heat following an incident earlier in the race. He’d then come back with a strong finish in the second heat, finishing second.
When it came feature time, he'd start the No. 84 Supercuts, Paul's Auto Body, Shirley's Bayside Grille, Septech Septic Services, Lockeroom Sports Bar and Grill, Women in Stride, Sturdy Power Lines, Spira Fire Protection, Northern Safety, Gunk Canada, Bourque Transmission and Sophie's Place Late Model in the eighth position.
By lap two, he’d battling with Taylor Holdaway for the sixth position. He wouldn’t be able to pass Holdaway, slipping back to seventh on lap four. He would then be passed by Mike Bentley on lap six, bumping him back to eighth.
He would then slip back to ninth on lap nine after being passed by Scott Beatty, and then slip back to 10th on lap 12 after being passed by Kevin Cornelius.
On lap 13, trouble would strike for the Cronan Motorsports team as Cronan would go for a spin. Cronan would come down pit road and the team would go to work, sending him back out. He would restart in the 17th position.
On the restart, Keith Maiato would pass Cronan to put him back to 18th, however there’d be another caution when Ernie Fumerton and Dario Capirchio got together. As a result of both drivers to the back of the field, Cronan would move up to the 16th position.
On the restart, Cronan would begin making his way back up through the field, climbing to the 13th position by lap 22. He would be passed by Ernie Fumerton to bump him back to 14th, though the caution would then come out for Sean Grosman going around. As a result of Grosman to the back, Cronan would move back up to the 13th.
On the restart, the third caution would come out when Jason Witty would go for a spin, allowing Cronan to move up to the 12th position.
On the restart with three laps to go, Cronan would make one more pass to finish the 30 lap feature in the 11th position.
As a result, Cronan slips to fifth in the point standings, six points out of fourth.
