Terry Woodley would bring out his back-up car after last week's wreck and finish a solid 14th in the feature.
Last weekend while Woodley was out at a wedding, Trevor Hemingway was behind the wheel of the No. 6 Mini Stock. Hemingway started off the night well....though ran into some trouble when he got sideways with two laps to go in the feature and Kendra Adams made hard contact with the right side. The result was the car being beyond repair and the decision being made to bring out the back-up for the rest of 2013 and focus on building a new car for 2014.
This past weekend, in the first race with the back-up car, Woodley finished eighth in the first heat. Woodley then fifth in the second heat.
Come feature time, Woodley started in the fifth position, battling for third with Brian Love on lap two. However, with some of the quicker cars making their way through the field, Woodley would slip back to 13th by the first caution at lap 10 for Samantha Shaw going around.
He then slipped back to 14th over the course of the next five laps and pair of cautions. For the final 10 laps, Woodley ran hard and came home with a solid 14th place finish.
Currently, Woodley sits fifth in points, 90 points out of fourth and seven points ahead of sixth.
