At the end of racing on May 19th, Tyler Johnston came home fourth in the feature for his best career feature finish as he enters his sophomore season in the Mini Stock division.

In the first heat, Johnston started fifth and came home in second behind Rob Krystal.

In the second heat, the Holland Landing, Ontario native started fifth and came home second behind Tyler Dickson.

In the feature, the driver of the No. 07 Custom Copper Works, L S Masonry, Clean Up Green Up, Larry Wilsons Contracting, Home Innovations and Entra Civic was running fifth under the first caution on lap two for Stephen Wilson spinning out despite starting mid-pack.

Virtue of Tyler Dickson and Dan Britt being put to the back as involved cars under the second caution on lap 10, Johnston was able to move up to the third position.Before the end of the race, Eric Yorke would get by Johnston, moving him back to the fourth position. The fourth place feature finish marked Johnston’s first career feature top five finish as well as his third top 10 finish this year in three weekends of racing.

He now sits fourth in points, 21 points out of third and 51 points out of the lead.
