For the fourth time this season, Warren Paxton would go to victory lane at the end of the Mini Stock feature as he picked up the victory on Saturday night.
Paxton picked up the win when he was the leader when a caution was thrown on lap 24 of 25 due to the track being covered in oil. Instead of waiting for clean-up, the decision was made to end the race there.
Brandon McFerran would finish second for his third straight top two finish.
Barrie Speedway front runner William Davies would finish third as he made the trip to Sunset to prepare for the Sunday invitational with Barrie’s Minis being off.
Ben Melenhorst would finish fourth for his sixth top 10 in six races this year.
Barrie Speedway driver Justin Holmes rounded out the top five.
Paxton would win the first heat of the night ahead of Ken Townsend, Holmes, Davies, Brian Love, Peter Inglis, the 18x and Kendra Adams.
McFerran would win the second heat of the night ahead of Lance Foster, Gehrig Haliday, Ben Melenhorst, Steve Belanger, Morgan Robson and Candiss Everingham.
Terry Clodd would win the third heat for his first heat win of the season ahead of Eric Yorke, Tyler Johnston, Billy Melenhorst, Kevin Pickford, Lisa DeLeeuw, Trevor Hemingway and Mike Robinson Jr.
Paxton went for the daily double ahead of Townsend, Davies, Holmes, Adams, the 12x, Doug Wilman and Inglis.
Ben Melenhorst won heat five ahead of McFerran, Foster, Belanger, Haliday, Robson and Everingham.
Yorke won the last heat ahead of Clodd, Woodley, Johnston, Billy Melenhorst, Pickford, Robinson Jr., DeLeeuw and Hemingway.
