Last season, six different drivers found victory lane during regular events during the season. With four of the top competitors running part-time in 2012, it will be interesting to see what happens.
For the second straight year, the defending Mini Stock Series Champion will only be running a part-time schedule. In 2010, Doug Butler won the championship and followed it up with a part-time schedule in 2011.
Now 2011 Mini Stock Champion Nicole Podewils will be running a part-time schedule in 2012 due to school. She won her second championship with three feature and eight heat victories last season. The season was marked by consistency over wins as she found herself in the top 10 of the features every week.
