Kevin Lacroix Claims First Win of the Season in the Pro•Line 150

Kevin Lacroix claimed the win in the Pro•Line 150, the first of two 150-lap races on Saturday evening. Due to impending rain, the race weekend was condensed to one day, meaning the Pro•Line 150 and Choko 150 were set to take place 2 hours apart. The grid was defined by a merged practice session and qualifying for the Pro•Line 150, while the driver’s fastest lap time during the first race would be used to set the grid for Race 2.

Lacroix finally secured his first win of the season in the Pro•Line 150. His opponent, former Riverside International Speedway 2019 winner Jason Hathaway, went toe-to-toe throughout the race, but had to settle for the second place in his #3 ASSA ABLOY/Leland Industries Chevrolet. Alex Guénette rounded off the Top 3, commanding his #39Casino Grand Royal Wôlinak/DLGL Chevrolet.

“I’m so happy about the win!” stated Lacroix. “We finally got it done today. It’s the first win of the season, but not the last.”

“It was a good race’, said Hathaway. “ We have a good car. It’s been a lot of fun with Kevin battling out there. He and I have had some through the years. It’s always good to put on a show for the fans.” Alex Guénette finished third in the #39 Casino Grand Royal Wôlinak/DLGL Chevrolet. He had a satisfying race, starting from the bottom of the grid.

“It was an awesome race,” he said. “We started last and made our way up to third. I had a solid battle with Thomas Nepveu for third place. The team did not quit, and I didn’t either. We fought the whole way. I’m grateful to be out here, and hopefully, we’ll get another solid finish in the next race.”

Pro•Line, 150 and round four of the season are completed, but the day is not yet over, with a green flag for Choko 150 queued up for 9:20 ADT/8:20 ET.
