The NASCAR Canada Series concluded its 2026 season Saturday night at Delaware Speedway with the NTN BCA 200 Presented by APC, where Donald Theetge claimed the final victory of the year in the No. 80 Vulcain/Max Leclerc Construction Chevrolet. Marc-Antoine Camirand was officially crowned the 2026 NASCAR Canada Series champion. The title is his third consecutive, making him the first driver in series history to achieve a three-peat. It is also his fourth championship in five seasons, tying the all-time series record.

Marc-Antoine Camirand started from pole, in the No. 96 GM Paillé/Chevrolet Canada, alongside Donald Theetge, but the lead changed hands early and often around the half-mile oval. Theetge challenged Camirand from the opening lap and moved to the front on the second lap before Kevin Lacroix took over the lead two laps later behind the wheel of the No. 74 NAPA Racing Chevrolet.

Theetge remained close behind Lacroix and reclaimed the top spot shortly after while D.J. Kennington quickly worked his way into contention in his first race behind the wheel of the No. 51. Kennington, in the Castrol/Brimstone/Rocket Doctor/Super.com Dodge, moved past Lacroix for second shortly after and began closing in on Theetge. Behind the leaders, Camirand dropped to sixth following contact with Alex Tagliani driving the No. 3 Olymel/Wurth/Ureco Chevrolet.

The first caution of the race came on lap 48 when Cayden Lapcevich in the No. 76 GSR/Ohsweken/Chantarellie/Ace Services Chevrolet spun in Turn 1. On the ensuing restart, Kennington challenged Theetge on the inside and moved into the lead. Theetge retook the top position shortly after.

The race took a turn following the competition caution on Lap 150, with Connor Bell in the No. 8 Dymon/Sangsin Brake/Fast Eddie Chevrolet taking the lead on the restart ahead of Lacroix and Theetge. Lacroix repeatedly challenged Bell for the top spot, but the rookie held him off as the race entered its closing stages.

Theetge then began making his way back toward the front, moving into second before challenging Bell for the lead. After applying pressure to the No. 8, Theetge took over the top position with 21 laps remaining. Lacroix followed through to move into second, while Kennington remained in contention for a podium finish.

The closing laps brought separate incidents at opposite ends of the speedway, as Bell spun following contact with Andrew Ranger while Nicolas Barrette also went around. The incidents ultimately brought out the red flag with six laps remaining, with Barrette unable to continue.

When racing resumed, Theetge and Lacroix battled for the lead in the final sprint to the checkered flag. Theetge held off the challenge to win the NTN BCA 200 Presented by APC and close out the 2026 season in Victory Lane.

Lacroix finished second, while Kennington completed the podium in third.

“I think we had a great race. We finished second four times this year, so I think we deserved this one. We worked on the car all week, and it was really fast tonight,” said Donald Theetge. “I have to thank the entire team, our sponsors and everyone who supports us. It’s been a long season, and it feels good to finish it on a high note.”

Marc-Antoine Camirand also officially celebrated his 2026 NASCAR Canada Series title at Delaware Speedway, closing out another historic season for the driver of the No. 96 GM Paillé/Chevrolet Canada Chevrolet.

“We said it at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, but now it’s official: back-to-back-to-back championships,” said Marc-Antoine Camirand. “I’m incredibly proud of this team. I’ve said it throughout the season, but there is so much work that goes on behind the scenes. I’m the one behind the wheel, but none of this would be possible without the dedication of my crew and the support of our sponsors. For me, winning races and championships is a way of giving back to everyone who puts so much into this team. I’m especially grateful to GM Paillé and Jean-Claude Paillé for their continued support. I’m very proud of everything we’ve accomplished together.”

Driver of the No. 47 WeatherTech/Bellemare/Omnifab/Dofralex Dodge, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin secured second place in the final championship standings, while Kevin Lacroix finished the season third.

Connor Bell also officially concluded his rookie campaign by removing the yellow rookie stripe after earning the 2026 Jostens Rookie of the Year.

The NTN BCA 200 Presented by APC brought the 2026 NASCAR Canada Series season to a close at Delaware Speedway.
