Saturday’s qualifying session for the eBay Motors 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) was cancelled after a major storm system moved through the area shortly after practice.
The field for Sunday’s race will be set based on times from today’s practice session.
Reigning champion L.P. Dumoulin and Treyton Lapcevich will start on the front row followed by Marc-Antoine Camirand, Bretty Taylor and Matthew Scannell.
Lapcevich held onto second place despite spinning on his second practice lap, sending his No. 20 FBM/RGC Sports/QwickWick Chevrolet into the wall in Turn 3, causing significant damage.
Tomorrow’s schedule remains unchanged, with the garage set to open at 9 a.m.
The eBay Motors 200 will take place at 1:30 p.m. ET and air live on TSN.ca and the TSN app in Canada, and FloRacing in the United States. It will air on TSN on Saturday, May 28 at 4 p.m. and RDS2 on Sunday, June 12 at 10 a.m.
